In Betina there for almost five small family-run shipyard in which skilled builders hand tools build solid and durable traditional wooden boats.
Betina enjoys the unofficial but acknowledged, the status of the Adriatic town of wooden shipbuilding. With Korcula is the oldest shipbuilding on the Adriatic.
